CloudsA Poem by Natasia DuckettJust another day drifting off in the clouds.
Balls of cotton in the sky
All above Way up high Maybe one day that could be me So much to do yet so care free Maybe I could be The clouds that brush the tops of trees? Be the slow drifting site That shields the sun from showing too much light? I could tickle the around the atmosphere without the fears I have down here No fear of judgment No fear of strife No fear of death No fear of life Just hanging around in the sky watching the birds and planes go by One I will be what I dream the most Drifting in to the horizon Disappearing deep down the coast © 2015 Natasia DuckettAuthor's Note
