The Love I Could Not Feel

The Love I Could Not Feel

A Poem by Tash Hill
"

I consumed the one whose heat I could not steal.

"

I consumed the one whose heat I could not steal.

I dined upon her heat tonight,

I basked within her light.

I solaced as she held me tight

long into the night.

I cursed the woman whose love I could not feel.

I missed this one, again you speak well of that want and need for another to surrender completely, and to surrender ones self, but we never seem to be able to quite give up to it.
I wonder if the line:
I solaced as she held me tight
may be improved by
I (was) solaced as she held me tight
A good write, as usual Tash.
