What's on my Mind?

Everyday I log on
Every hour
Every minute
Every second
Every millisecond
Every half a milli second if there could ever be one
I see the question "What's on your mind?"

So today I decided to ask my mind
I said, "Mind? What's on you?"
My mind replied, "Too much to write in that little space."
So then my mind and I thought of ways
Ways to fill that little space

Then my mind thought, "Well, why don't you write a poem about what's on me?"
So, that is what I'm doing
Writing a poem of what's on my mind

Well, first of all, this site and poem is on my mind
Come on mind, think, what else is on you?
Second of all, let's get this straight
Nothing is literally ON my mind
Unless a bug snuck up my ear and somehow wound up on it
I doubt it
I hope not

I am thinking about cookies
Cookies and milk
Now I just thought about a book
The book "If you give a mouse a cookie"
I'm going to quote this whole book, or try to
"If you give a mouse a cookie he'll ask for a glass of milk."
That's all I remember

Nothing else is on my mind
And this is not a poem
I don't know what this is
But certainly not a poem
But now when you read that question on my page
Just read this (not a) poem
And you'll know exactly what goes through my mind
