Soon You'll be gone

Soon You'll be gone

A Poem by TarynNiquole

Soon You'll be gone,

Just like all the others before.

Don't think that you'll be in my memories

It’s already bounded and tied by the others

It doesn't make a difference to me anymore

whether you stay or go

Just make it quick before my heart gets use to having you around

Foot prints will no longer be effective,

for they will mush together with the others

Although it's going to be a bit difficult,

when all it really is, is glass

Soon you will be gone just like the others

all those words to me

that you have said

were never effective

Its the same speech,

the same empty words

about promises of friendship

since when has this world lost its meaning?

Soon you'll be gone

Lost like melted snow on the summers ground

and I will be left like always...

waiting for you to return.
