Bliss.A Poem by TariqBliss can't be on earth. The lies assemble in the forest Hooded and dressed in black,
woolen coats They raise their fingers to
the lifeless sky All the starts recoil within
the shadows of the burning earth And darkness encloses the
planet. The souls; colorful as they
rise through beams of light, are chanting. They glide gently over the
atmosphere, beaming at each other. “God welcomes us,” They say,
“We’re safe,” The escalating goes on. Far away, the horizon
reflects a tinge of orange coming from the new sun. The lies speak their enchantments. The souls gasp and plunge
down the sky Their hands pointing at the
one lone star, still shining in then north “Save us,” They scream, “Our
bodies perplexed our hearts. Now, the lies can’t perplex our essence.” After tethering the souls to the
earth The lies smirk at each other And all the souls go ablaze The flames dance in the last,
soft breeze that eddied over the earth As their azure particles fade
under the flames, the souls smile. Heaven opens up for them. Its rivers gushing and its birds
singing Bliss in a world where lies exist Is a delusion But bliss in a world where truth
abounds Is pure ecstasy © 2010 TariqReviews
