Your monster

Your monster

A Poem by Tarik

I shudder in the cold air.

On that accursed day, you shall speak to your monster all those beautiful things you told me.

All the secrets of your mind

The envious ideas that you shared with me

All of your daily sins, you spoke out so willingly. Your heart beamed and breathed in clean air for the first time; you shared the burden with your seraph

They were so sweet, so light

Warmth enwrapped me and kissed me on the neck, “I’m the memory that shall keep you safe when the world forsakes you.”

You shall f**k your monster in bed once or twice everyday.

You shall caress your monster with hands filled with tenderness and care.

You shall breathe life into your monster and you shall create a son.

But can your monster listen to your groans?

Can your monster save you from the sins that your heart commits everyday?

No, no, no. Your monster shall consume you

It shall devour your essence

Happiness has deluded you once again

You shall come to me and ask me for answers.
