For Him

For Him

A Story by Tapher
"

For my grandpa Theron Griffith Jr. R.I.P

"

My first loss. I didn't see him very much. I didn't necesarily know him as a person either. I knew I enjoyed being in his company. I believe my mother now when she said I should have gotten to know him better, why until his funeral I didn't know he was a mechanic for the air force. I didn't know he was such a suave guy in his youth either. He enjoyed the outdoors I heard. Enjoyed computer games, his dog, fishing, and definetly watching movies all day long. He was cool. The stories he told made me admire him as a BAMF. The preacher at his service was happy to see us all there, said that it was good that my grandfather was able to bear a family as great as this one. I know he wasn't my biological grandfather, but he is the one who i will always call grandpa. I'm glad he is chillin up in Heaven playing solitare with his dogs that he loved so much. I'm glad he isnt hurting anymore. I'm glad he went peacefully. im glad i got to see him one last time.......
