Bec

Bec

A Poem by Tanya Maree
"

I can not describe here what this is about. I think it is very explainatory in itself.

"
Bec,
Words cannot express my sorrow,
As we should never have united this way.
As how do we mend
Our words of hurt
Which saw us part?

How do I live with this regret
That we can now never mend what was done?

You should not have left this way,
It is not right,
It is not fair.

How will i ever know
If you knew i was there?

How will I know
If you have forgiven me
Like I have forgiven you?

You are my big sister,
Through thick and thin.

So why did this have to happen this way?
Your life was cut too short.

Why did we not sort this out
Before it got to being too late?

If only I knew
You knew....

It still wouldnt fix this heavy sorrow,
As we were both very stubborn,
And pig headed.

Your life as a daughter,
A sister, friend and wife,
Meant a lot to us all,
In all different ways.

Nothing will replace you.
Nothing will let us forget you.
You will always remain
In our hearts
And in our memories.

And when I see you again,
I so hope to give you
The biggest hug
Life can bring to us all.

I love you
And I really miss you...

May your spirit carry on
God Bless you Bec.

Tanya Maree - welcome to WritersCafe.

Bec, is a beautiful poem filled with the emotions of pain and regret, yet holding the hope of seeing her again and sharing the biggest hugs life can bring.

You ask the questions we all ask at this time.

Your words are a loving tribute to a sister lost, not only by words but also by death.

We all believe we have time - time to mend fences and build bridges but oft times we do not and we are left behind in sorrow and asking why?

Sad as this poem is for you, it also teaches a lesson - don't wait to fix things with those you love.

Sisters always know! Sisters are people too, and they have their own life to live. They may fight, walk away, not speak to each other for months or years, BUT sisters ALWAYS know they are loved and forgiven - and it doesn't always need words.

A beautiful poem Tanya Maree and for what it's worth, she was your sisiter and she knew.

(((hugs)))
