Nooooooooooo! Please leave me alone! She continued screaming until her husband woke her up and held her to calm her down. Even though her husband persuaded her to narrate the dream she couldn’t because of the guilt. She lied instead. Her achievements and successes couldn’t wipe the horror of her past. Her heart aches when she remembers, her willpower crumbles, her strength dissolves when she sees a flash of the pain and the picture of what happened when she was 6 years old. Michelle is a beautiful woman in her twenties. She is a business consultant, who oversees about 25 companies. She is a great wife, sister, mother and friend but she is an ‘emotional wreck, shadow of herself and helpless’.

My parents took my brother and me to stay with one of our family friend for the weekend. We were left in the care of two of their male children on Saturday as they left for groceries shopping, then he called me Michelle! I went and immediately the closed the door and asked me to take off my clothes (uncontrollable tears and Dr. Hells sat beside her on the floor). He threatened me and said ‘if you tell anyone you will die.’ He took advantage of me and defiled me (her shoulder dropped and felt relived because she opened up for the first time). Sexual molestation is the story of four out of ten girls. This raises questions like ‘is being born a woman a crime? Why girls are tortured and raped? Why are females treated like a second-class citizens?
