Yearning in shadows

Feelings are confusing but I guess there's beauty in confusion. Feelings can hurt you but I guess there's a beauty hidden between one sided love. 

One sided lover, a hopeless romantic yet broken person. Listening to songs on a bus ride and thinking about them hoping if they ever come across the same song their thoughts lead to you. One sided lover, a very strong person who is hopeful the future might change. Smiling on a random Wednesday afternoon while daydreaming about how it would be like if they were yours. 

You never really know the true pain of loving someone who doesn't love you back unless you have been through it. Here I was, going through that everyday. Every little interaction gives you butterflies and all your delusions feed into a future with them. After all, one sided love is a pain but yet there's a beauty in it.

The beauty is that you can love someone with your everything without wanting anything back. Beauty is the way the your eyes sparkle whenever someone mentions their name. The beauty is that you see them in every face and hope they are there everywhere. Unfortunately, they don't even know.
