Do I ever cross your mind?

Do I ever cross your mind?

A Poem by Tanya N Ramirez

Do you ever think of me? The damage you caused.

Does it ever bother you? Keep you up at night?
Repeating over and over? Or is you life the status quo?

Did you think I would forget? Have you? Or is it ignored?
Have I become a dirty little secret locked way in the ressess of your mind?

Do you realize how youve changed me? How I'm different then I once was?
How I am Never able to go back?

Have you ever thought of how I turned out? How my life is?
Do I ever pop into mind unexpectedly?

Do you realize that you and I are forever linked until the day I die?
In each other's stories irrevocably intertwined?

Do I ever cross your mind?

Young guys and (lots of times) even fathers don't have minds that are developed properly so they do weird things that are hurtful to others. Your poems reflects a story that is unfortunately quite common with either one. I think you expressed yourself honestly and appropriately in this writing. Good for you.
