Princess

Princess

A Poem by Tanisha Rascoe
"

We all want to be a princess

"

I wanted to be a princess

So I never cut my hair

I skipped meals

I tried to be happy

I wore makeup

I put myself to sleep

But I never was a princess

I just became lonely

My hair became a mess

I became weak

I was still sad
But I was a pretty corpse.
