Doubt

Doubt

A Poem by Tania Leigh

My thoughts are like rolling thunder

that carelessly torments once silent skies.

My fear is like lightning that I feel paralyzed under

and my tears fall as the rain does when Mother Nature cries.

My feelings seek shelter from the storm and I begin to wonder

if my umbrella of courage will ever open after so many tries.

Those doubts that fester in our minds thought sometimes not always detected are our worst enemy as they hold us back from reaching for our dreams but we can turn it into our greatest strength as if we use it as a motivational tool to strive for the impossible... I love the vulnerability of the human side that you so powerfully display in such few words... A fav of mine.

Doubt..it's very clear.
A feeling drowned..in tears of pain ..storm of heartache.. And it's raining hard..there's an umbrella of hope and courage...But...Many trials, all in vain..gave it dark shadows..shadows of doubt...Rooted it deep in mind and heart..but nevertheless there's a hope..that raised a doubtful question..
(But at least it asked a question..
Half battle won.)
Now try..it'll open...It Will.
A wonderful write.
Very thought provoking, yet a sweet little one.
Thanks for sharing.

This poem is so ture and strong, and composed in a languge which everybody understands. Sometimes, poetry isn't all about hard vocab, right? I do love the first verse, "once silience sky". Just from this piece of information, I think I can see it, smell it, and touch it. Hope you got your umbrella upen eventually ^_^.

I cursed the stars and the moon
that laid so happily in the sky above
Could they not see
this was the night meant to mourn
The one I loved
The one that loved me

I liked this piece as it invoked such thoughts within me I could not help but to give in to their call. I hope you don't mind the little piece but inspired by your words.

Great Job!!!!!!

The serenity of your inner most thoughts rattle your world like a violent thunderstorm that was lanced from a peaceful rest. I must say that when I read short poems I am shocked by how much detail can be transposed with a handful of well placed words. But I know it's the artist, and how a vision can be projected. Nice.

The Sky's thunder and they let loose a torent of crying rain. An then we try our best to take cover from lifes torrents of emotional hail.

Very Good images. I liked it alot!

Wow, what metaphors! So rich, it's like biting into chocolate cake. The last one is my favorite, the umbrella of courage that won't open. We still see it's potential though, which is what keeps us from breaking under the storm.

I feel overwhelmed like this a lot, great write, really well done.
