Beautiful. Your writing reminds me of water for some reason, I don't know if it's the font you use, the words, style, probably a combination of them all, but in a way it reminds me of sparkling streams of water. A very powerful image. This is pretty, I look forward to writing more.
You come in boldly with this one and already rank as the Senryu Queen! This is top notch with the way it flows and the huge meaning packed into few precious words. A powerful and sad story lies within. Most impressive!
Someone wrote of the tears of a cloud and how noone understands,
But people are much the same really arnt they?
How often will anyone ever say... This is why I cry (insert reason)
Many will simply turn away a person prying into what bought on tears, and more still hide them all together. Stupid really if you think about it, you would think the person prying might be able to help if they knew where to start. Or at times the crier knew where to stop. Hrmmm.. Anyway, nice write Tania.
Leaves so much to thought.
Beautiful senryu, Tania. I like that you leave it to your reader to decide what type of tears they are...from the reviews, everyone has a different take on it. I'm no expert, but I believe the art of senryu embraces the concept of allowing the reader latitude for personal interpretation, allowing the reader draw his or her own conclusions, feel his or her own emotions as a result of the word seeds you sew...masterfully accomplished. I wish you well in the contest.
