The Raven's PathA Poem by Tania Leigh
As I close my weary eyes I see a raven in the dead oak tree that marks the end of this fateful path -- and my life – but I manage a laugh, for as its cold black eyes watch over me in grotesque anticipation of my very last breath, it is I who will win in the end, you see; it is I who chose not the path on the left. Death was right and Life was left. © 2008 Tania LeighAuthor's Note
