The Sea

The Sea

A Poem by Tania

The sea,
A hungry devil awaiting it's next soul to conjure,
As it's mystics lure the curious.

In daylight, the sun glistens off it's ever spectacular mass,
And people watch in awe at its mysterious beauty.
At night, the moon looks upon its rugged waves as they gust upon the naked sand,
The temptuous stranger enticed by its dark, rhythmic sound.

Filled with demons unknown, yet scarce of small angelic surprises,
The battle of good and evil collides until the day of doom.

It's beauty lies between the eyes of the beholder until intelligence breaks through,
All is revealed, the lords great creation tampered with.

You!
You are my sea, awaiting me,
Filled with demons and angelic surprises for me,
But I shall not drown in your sea,
Il walk the earth and forever be free.
