Scintillate

Scintillate

A Poem by Pandora
"

I have never fallen in love and I call myself an anti-love poet which brings out my perspectives on what love is.

"

I glimpsed from my window to
The starry night sky...
Hoping that our star would scintillate
Tonight.
Perhaps tonight wasn’t meant for us
Tonight was for them...who sacrified their one sided “affection” for the other to be happy.
Our star...will scintillate one day
and then on that day I, will wish
for them to have their very own version of “scintillation”
To cherish their eternal love forever.

twinkling swizzles of stars...fire... passion
is it compassion to sacrifice one sided affection for others to be happy?
