Where? After All

Where? After All

A Poem by Tango Barraza

It seems that the
weight of existence can
fall upon you,

in an instant,

and life
becomes too much,

Putting on your socks,
cutting your nails,
combing your hair,

Becomes murder,
it becomes rape,

Unbearable,
destructive,

Driving to work
becomes
suicide,

Getting back home,
burning
in hell.

Very dark, sad poem. I love it though! You did a great job on it :) No suggestions, I think you did it perfectly. Thanks for sharing it with us :)

Ooohhh beautiful and simple! I love it. It reminds me of so many days and weeks and months I've had journeying through this thing called life. The emotion is def felt in this piece. Job well down!
