A Poem by Jacqueline
"

I had a fight with Music one day...

"
Music keeps letting me down
    like a boyfriend crashing down
This lover's blue skin seems leathery now
becase Music keeps letting me down.

Don't get me wrong, his voice is beguiling still
all raspy mess that works my soul,
But he doesn't play for me no more...
no... he keeps letting me down.

Music's manic depression is wearing thin,
He told me he'd be in town again
Playing his guitar strings with passion
        But... he let me down.

this poem defines singing the blues ... being let down by the melody of depression.. the introspective
analysis.. i'd liken to a steady downward spiraling of emotions.. the metaphorical reflection resembles

a relationship gone the way of storm winds..a fleeting moment of controversy ..now the after effects
are the only thing left..the tears of its passion..what i liked about this writing was the beat and flow..

its a jazzy rhythm in the street blues feeling...the mood is set to transpire and is felt with such effects

Cute poem, I like the idea of music being a person - some people are so obsessive over it you'd think it WAS a person. x) Great job!
