Heartbreaker

Heartbreaker

A Poem by Areya Valena

You won't look at me,

but you know I'm here.

With one forsaken glance,

you announce my fear.

Your letter said things never spoken,

feelings never shared.

And reasons...

For things never dared.

I held your empty heart,

and crushed it completly,

I now understand,

why you havn't forgiven me.

Hearing your words in my head,

of how bad I hurt your heart,

and I just keep wondering,

didn't you see it falling apart?
I apologize for leading you on,

I didnt mean to in any way,

i just worried about a friend,

that's been in my mind to this very day.

Your heart opened back up,

but I cannot come in,

leave it to someone who loves you,

and keep her in the end.

So my old friend,

will you be mine too?

Or will you leave me,

the way I walked out on you...?

....I'm sorry....

Wow. Now I understand (almost) everything, and it makes me feel blown away. Wow...I never would've guessed that he'd feel that way. I guess you were just as surprised as me though. This is a great poem, too.
