Waiting

Waiting

A Story by Areya Valena
"

I just want you here.

"
Let me sleep,
not for forever,
not for a second,
but for just as long,
as it takes you to grow.
My impatience sings,
my body grows.
My stomach grows.
But I want to sleep,
until you've grown.
Until I hear your cry.
Until I see your face.
I'm waiting impatiently,
Until you're in my arms.
My baby,
My daughter,
My son,
My salvation and savior.
I'm waiting to meet you.
