The MeadowA Poem by Areya ValenaWhere is this Meadow? In the meadow, a tune plays. Silhouettes dance among the trees, The wind blows, a wolf howls, Oh, the meadow. In the meadow, a child laughs. a flame crackles, a feast awaits. White Oleanders kiss my ankles, rose nips my nose, my heart feels so light, happiness beckons. In the meadow, tears are not known, pain is impossible, and a great being waits. Oh, the meadow. Sun kisses my cheeks, I wonder what created this place, who created this place, and where is this person, so I can praise them. In the meadow, I cry out joy, I never want to leave. © 2012 Areya ValenaFeatured Review
