In the Dark of the NightA Poem by SerenityIn the Dark of the Night When the Moon is Full And I Glance at the Flame Dancing and Dull I Can Only See What You Want Me to See I Can See What We Once Used to Be Love Pouring Down Like Toxic Rain A Long Neverending Last of Pain Screams Echoing Clearly Into the Night Somewhere in the Distance Someones Putting Up a Fight A Song Playing Quietly Somewhere Nearby Begins to Skip My Finger Rests Gently Upon My Lip A Sound Escapes My Throat "SH" I Open the Door and Begin to Rush Crying I Stumble And Fall To The Ground In the Dark of the Night I Fall and Make Not a Sound Someone Pulls on My Hair and I Know Whose There Tears Fill My Eyes As I Remember All Your Lies In the Dark of the Night When Moon is Full And I Glance at the Flame Dancing and Dull You'll See the Real and True Me You'll See Exactly What We Once Were And You'll Regret Ever Letting Me Go
