Touched by a Light

In the darkness they come in numbers

In the day its like most summers

Twisted turns, Screams and Shouts

Warning Signs, that read Keep Out!

Consumed by the darkest Night

But i have been touched by a light!

a light that which no one can see

a light that has touched only me

a light with a gentle caress

a light that has made me confess

i'm not as sweet as most like to think

while others swim, i will forever sink

sink into the dark abyss of my shattered mind

sink and shy away from all of man kind

for even if i am filled with fright

I know that i have been touched by a light
