What is Night?

It is Day without Light

It is a warrior losing a fight

It is a time filled with fright

It is Heaven without any hell

It is a little girl trapped in a well

It’s Life with no blood

A puddle with no Mud

A bird with no wings

A raven when it sings

A tune to an endless song

An addict without his bong

It is a sweet and lively kiss

Maybe even Evil with a twist

It’s when people say goodnight

And others say it’s going to be alright

Reality seems to kick in

Some realize their living a sin

What is night?

I can sit here until the morning light

And try to tell you

But I don’t have a clue
