The All-Seeing MirrorA Chapter by SerenityThe Walls Talk in Silence, The Door Locked Shut, The Window Grim and Barred, Nothing to do but Sit and Rot. The Voices fill Her head and the once White Bed is now gray with years. Nurses rush by all dressed in white and look in every once in a while, shaking their heads, Her head turns to the mirror and all she sees is a sad and lonely girl whose beautifully golden hair is delicatly placed into two nice neat pigtails that fall across her chest. Her lips red as the blood that runs through her veins, never turning up in a smile always saddened always just a straight line on her face. her skin tan against the white cloth of the gown she now wears. Her eyes as blue as the ocean glance out the window towards freedom. Her thoughts clouded by the voices in her head telling her what to do. The mirror cant lie, it cant hide what she herself tries so hard to hide. It cant lie to her, for she knows the truth. Clear tears fall from her rosy pink cheeks onto the gray sheets. For she knows deep inside that she is truly crazy, that she is truly insane, and no one can help her but herself. She’s lost and alone. Shes afraid of not only others but herself. Shes afraid of what she could do and of who she might hurt. Shes afraid of herself and what she might do to herself. The gray sheets that once laid on her bed have now been changed to new white ones and the mirror now looks upon the face of another, this time a young brunette boy who was just as alone as the blonde girl had been, until she had escaped to the light that laid outside her window.
