Through A Barred WindowA Chapter by SerenityI stand outside and look in and all i see is a girl the same age as me, looking out of a barred up window. She has blonde hair and crystal blue eyes that shine like the sea. I stare at her and she stares back at me. She seems innocent, helpless, almost harmless. She turns and then looks back and disappears from the window only to come back again a few short minutes later, wearing a nightgown made of white. Her expression as delicate, as she is. Her eyes show longing, her lips tender and fair. no blood runs through her face, her cheeks pale and colorless. no flush to them at all. Her hand outstreched trying to grasp mine, but i cannot touch but i finger on that beautifully graceful hand. her hair falls down to the side of her face and i can see the tenderness in her smile, and feel the gentlness in her touch. We do not talk but yet we sit there and glance feverishly into one anothers eyes and with those glances all that we need to say is said with just one sorrowful look. Our love is dateless, as well as speachless yet it has never been more true, we do not need to speak to know what the other feels, to know what the other is thinking, we just simply do. The moon high above us gives us all the light we need. And with sorrowful yet loving looks we depart our seperate ways. for she is locked in and i am locked out until we meet again. When the moon is full and the window is aluminated by her presence i shall walk again to this very spot and reach out and hope that one day i will be able to grasp her hand dearly and free her from this wreched place, and show her all that needs to be shown. © 2011 Serenity |
