Patchwork Heart

Patchwork Heart

A Poem by Serenity

You cannot see
The wounds inside of me
The pain that my heart must feel
The cuts that seem all too real
My skin white as snow
Hides what you need not know
Pieces of my heart
They crumble as I break apart
I'm stitched so effortlessly together
Pain that you can't seem to measure
You can't see the cracks that I bare
You look at me so unaware
Unable to even be around
You walk away not making a sound
Leave me standing lost and forgotten
The love inside me turning rotten
I won't let you see me cry
I'll hide it from you with another lie.

True spirit of love never let anyone know what its love's 'bout. You open your heart even to yourself in the bunches of emotional words. Well expressed your feelings!
