Stary Nights

Stary Nights

A Poem by Serenity

Listen to these thoughts as they crowd my head

Lean against my chest and listen to my heartbeat instead

Listen to the rythme, the steady beating tune

The first rays of light always come too soon

The moon is high above us and I want to hold you in my arms

The way you look at me, you just kill me with your charm

You understand me better than anyone else I know

How could I ever agree to let you go?

I look up at the stars at night thinking of you

and wonder if you're looking up at them

and thinking of me too.
