The selfish and the caring

While writing this poem, I thought about how selfish people are and how few people actually still care about others. People very rarely care how other people are doing. It really bothers me.

The selfish and the caring

Selfish describes the people we share the world with,

Everybody seems to care only for themselves,

Love is becoming more and more extinct,

Fighting and wars have become a part of our everyday lives,

I has become the most important word in todays society,

Selfish beings are inhabiting planet earth,

Hate is what we earthlings rule with.

Selfishness has become a common personality trait, no matter how often we deny it.

But there are still people that care, but they

Can't survive i this world,

Advantage is taken of them,

Rising above the cruelness of humanity is their greatest challenge,

Extinction threatens the caring, they will be drowned by the selfish.
