Leaning

Leaning

A Poem by Tammy

We lean toward the unknown

grouped together

like apples in a bushel barrel

a harvest of potentials

sorting the brusied and rotten

--waiting for what,

        we are unsure

Ahead one leads

we are still uncertain

as to where we are going;

yet we follow

I like this so much!

Your construction is simple but, the words are really quite haunting.. truth and skill personified.

' like apples in a bushel barrel / a harvest of potentials ' .. such a fine and credibly lovely thought

Thank you for sharing, Tammy.
