Coffee DateA Story by TammyI love Autumn but the season seems to go by so fast as soon as the leaves fall..
A kaleidoscope of color falls as wind scatters the peace of a mid-October day.
Melancholy thoughts invade my mind while I watch a mist dampen Autumn's gift and my mood.
We need rain, I know, it's not the weather that has me down, not really.
It's that my favorite season will soon end even though there is still two months left; if you go by the calendar.
The coffeehouse I'm sitting in has a coziness but it can't ward-off the chill that has set in my bones.
The swirling steam of my raspberry mocha taunts my nose with the promise of comfort while providing a $3.55 facial plus tax, of course. © 2008 TammyReviews
