A Gift

A Gift

A Poem by Tammy

Affection and trust, I have in you
In good times and bad, you'll see me through

We're more than acquaintances, I know you well
I respect and honor thee, more than I could tell

Few and far between are people like you
Some might even say you are true blue

A staunch supporter in whatever I may endeavor
Our friendship, our bond, will never sever

As time passes, together we both shall drift
But what we share is truly a blessed gift
