Body Language

Body Language

A Poem by Tammy

An unspoken lyric
broadcasting signals
from across the way
constantly sending messages
often while not even realizing

Quiet but powerful expressions
emitting a promise
of hope, love and trust;
potentially potent combination

Strong and sure
an attitude that communicates
want with each intake
of breath

A wish or demand
of extreme need
for something that is deprived,
possession of the heart

Just out of your grasp,
yet by chance
the opposite of what
was really being said

nice description on body language... I am starting to think now if I send signals to other people without knowing it. Hehehe!!!

Nice work! :)

Well done Tammy. I wonder how many of us do send messages to other
without ever knowing we did. Especially connected with the third stanza.
Often it is attitude, body language that speaks volumes. Enjoyed.
