Sitting alone at the edge of a lake
watching as a dragonfly
gently lights upon the tranquility,
disrupting the continuity of stillness,
causing the mirror to dance
with rippling haloes of shimmer
across the vast openness
shattering the serene reflection
of sky meeting sky
I really like your descriptive language on this one, very lovely indeed. In fact, i can imagine myself as the dragonfly. My favourite stanzas include, ''watching as a dragonfly gently lights upon the tranquility disrupting the continuity of stillness'', i really get a feel for this place, can easily picture the dragonfly, ''causing the mirror to dance (how wonderful!) A mirror dancing-what a visual! ''Rippling haloes of shimmer''...'' sky meeting sky''.
Absolutely wonderful, you've transported me with ease! Thank you
thank you very much for your review, much appreciated!

A scene I have watched many, many times, and was enthralled as you also are. I spent half my youth on the creek banks, fishing, swimming, or just watching nature. Thank you.
