In a RoomA Poem by Tamlin
I'm in a room with faces all round
Faces which stare but make not a sound Trapped in a place where the floor meets the ceiling With a demonic rhythm that leaves me reeling The empty souls all flock to me As if I am a sort of unholy deity The footsteps on the carpet pace back and forth Panicked words clamber out under my tongue Waiting faces all so perfectly hung and then © 2013 TamlinAuthor's Note
