In the depths of the mountain lay treasure untold.
In the depths of the mountain lay treasure untold Timber and wood, taught metal resounds And echos from the cavernous rounds The mystery of light in the darkness unfolds
Some people believe they are rightly called; the "Indigo Children". that oncoming wave of a new generation which must have started back in the 80's or 90's,.. 'round about the time when - out of the blue, it seemed - came all this 'attention deficit' prognostics. Oh, must have been something like every fifth or sixth kid, jettisoned with pharmaceuticals just inorder that they behave themselves and - chrissakes - sit still! ... I made it through that era unscathed, and it wasn't until much later that I began to hear about special 'adult' versions of attention deficit, and I'm not talking about the husband with selective hearing, or the woman with a brain like a sieve, yet the memory of an elephant. No; apparently even adults can be burdened with an official form of "scatter brain". Who'd of thunk it?
Today I'm thinking I must be one of them, because I only really saw the video you posted here. Between a short four lines of script, and what appears to be a music video, I diverged and took the path through Youtube. Then I looked at the comments below and how your reviewers make note only of the four lines. So, at first I want to apologise, Tam Warink: I got distracted and pressed play, and was fairly blown away by this musician. It was a brilliant, awesome display of talent and skill.
Perhaps some people are so exceptional in their abilities - it can be scary. Perhaps the essence of inspiration itself is still so foreign to us mere mortals that it can feel like an unknown monstrosity when a breeze touches our cheek. Some people 'gifted' with the allowance to go into the mountain do indeed, seem to shine.
Tam, thanks for sharing this video. Alexei Arkhipovskiy is an incredible mountaineer.

Yes. As of now, "readering" is a word. It has vowels, so there you have it.
That video ended too quickly I was so enthralled by it. And the poem made more sense to me than it did before. Often times we have to explore the dark to see how bright we truly are. Such a lovely poem :)

You are so very, very correct, Meraki. I like your change of photo too. :)

and what was in that mountain was peace and love...others wanted what was in there thinking it was riches...people always want to amass things....get more...but material things we cannot take with us...and they don't really make the heart content...music is the sound of love...as with poetry, it is most often made by those with a love of it...wanting to share...
we need more sharing...
so you write four lines and i go off on a tangent...
sorry, but your words inspired the reaction...
always good to read you, and feel the moment.

If four lines can produce that much marvelous contemplation it encourages me to reexamine the teeter-totter of "more is less" and "less is more." Yes, the synergy of words, music - combinations of the other senses, all the arts, attempt to express the moment. As always, the audience is the critical factor. Your experiences are wide and varied; so much to appreciate in your contemplations. Thank you.
