Loveless Breeze

Loveless Breeze

A Poem by Tam Warink
"

A tale of empty romance.

"

I dreamed I was the proud captain of
a sailing ship that sailed the seven seas.

One day I imagined myself strapped
to the mast, covered in ravenous fleas.

It startled me so that I began to
row though, to the eye, no land could be seen.

I perished there beneath those white
squares the victim of loveless breeze.

A lovely, very interesting poem. Short and simple, yet exceptionally profound and intriguing.

Thank you, Gleb, for that insight.

Never-ending it seems.
This poem is perfection, each word has a purpose, a duty, and it is delivered in a manner that I both appreciate, and hope one day will be able to achieve. I've read it, and now feel compelled to read again.

I do like that interpretation, Jacob! Thank you for the insight.
'Ravenous fleas', ewwie, not a good one to go....loveless breezes, now that's a concept that I understand, no more midnight margaritas for you Tam. Color me Seafoam green.

Ha! ..done and done. :)
Oh... there's no flies on you, my friend. But I suggest you forgo the salt air and switch to honey. Great forlorn shanty, here.

If you ever experience me getting "fresh" then the Fountain of Youth is near at hand. ;-)
