Golden SuckersA Poem by Tam WarinkFrom an age of youthful treason.
I pushed a stick into the ground
It made an awful sucking sound And when I pulled it quickly out The ground cried a spurting spout "Fat and lean, angel queen!", Johnny'd shout As he held the bucket out... Mary snatched the bucket dear Whacked poor Johnny behind the ear Camel's hump, ride the bump Going at least thirty In the air then seat to rump Sweaty, wet and dirty Face to face, no disgrace Young lips are wont to pucker We stole a kiss and then some bliss Those golden, aging suckers © 2013 Tam WarinkReviews
