She

She

A Story by Talvinder

It's too cold out there. It's probably winter at its peak. She feel her fingers frozen and numb. Behind her a helium mercury spilling its yellow light evenly in all directions, and fog in the atmosphere makes the helium filled bulb looks like a fostering sun in night which is not falling from its horizon but is stationary and staring from behind her. A strip of horizontal white tubelights shining over her head. She is feeling too cold but wearing warm expressions as if it is the night of the hope. A woolen synthetic jacket is not enough to keep her body warm but her eyes blistering, lips sealed to each other, forming a curve. She is smiling behind her lips and holding a flower as if she is the queen fervently postering for her portrait. Her unkempt hair falling over her shoulders. Her Pink hands trying to hide her quivering sometimes by rubbing them against each other and sometimes by fisting them. And oh.. so cute little round nose carved exquisitely on her face. Everytime she blinks, her brown eyes become more lustrous and capturing the moments which whirling her from inside. And there she stands, still, until a squall of cool breeze touches her face, her hair and exposed part of her suave body and a shiver goes down her spine,
Ahh...It's too cold, She purrs.
