patchwork

patchwork

A Poem by Ainigma

Sitting in my window frame

Patching my life together with a glue stick

Pictures of friends and a smell I never will forget

Dreaming myself back

To when the world seamed simpler

Plane tickets, Bus tickets and every other ticket

Accumulated from a life of memorize

Waving at the world and friends and family

Seeing their faces smiling back at me

Tucking my patch worked life around me.

Tears are running down outside my window

I wonder when the sun will break through

It use to be much warmer in the good days

Led the sun and sand burn our bodies

Looking a little more native

My mind is flying around in the deep outer space

Once it landed on Venus

Broke my heart and now I’m never going back again

We use jump around on the clouds all the time

now the clouds are filling my brain instead

Like a bear that sleeps through the winter

I sit back and wait for the thunderstorm to pass

When the sky once more are blue

And the birds chirp anew

I will fill in the last pages of my scrapbook

Of summer, winter, spring, autumn is MY favorite

It gives you time to think and dream a little further

The colours of my hands will paint the next tomorrow

It’s not for me to see

So I simply plant a tree and leave my memory behind.

...
amazingly well expressed
we get to a point
when we become
response-independent
then it's not about people
but who we want to be
irrespective of them
or so me thinks
