Heartbreak

He told me he’d love me forever,

He told me he would care,

He told me he’d hold me and never let me go or die.

I believed him when he made his promises,

I believed him when he took my heart,

I believed him  when he made the connection,

But from here, I learned he’s lied.

He whispered ‘I love you’ in my ear,

He told me his tale in my dreams,

He told me we were inseparable,

But from here, he shall know the truth.

I learned from the beginning he was different,

I learned from the start we were true,

I learned from the words he shouted,

“Cause from here,  can just die.

My baby got up and stabbed me,

And now, none can understand.”

He was my savior, my priest, my everything,

He was the love of my life,

He was the boy I was to ask to be mine,

But now, I should just die.
