The nights

The nights

A Poem by Tally

My nights are blank
They blur into one
Once we loved
But now your gone

My nights don't sparkle
They don't shine anymore
The glow diminishing
Until its put out

My nights are lonely
All by myself
In my apartment
Without your company

My nights are long
They last an eternity
No one for comfort
No loving response

My nights are cold
As I watch the world
Passing by in the street below
From my window seat

My nights are worthless
I guess that's how they'll be
Until you return
And I'll wait for you
Forever
