Lady Moon

Lady Moon

A Poem by Tally

So silently she slides into place

Her bewitching glow skimming the land

Trees become statues

Their silhouettes so tall and full of grace

The seas become her mirrors

Her reflection rippling gracefully

Her beauty is so pure

So eloquent for all to behold

Clouds skim across her face

Add to the mystery of her presence

Her companions the stars tremble at her being

For she is the mistress of the skies at night

Oooo so well written and smooth. Loved it. The moon has so much natural power. Love the line that says: "The seas become her mirrors" Thank you for such an inspiring read!

The magic allure of the yellow orb cannot be denied, and you put it very well, Tally. Samuel
