Mother

Mother

A Poem by Tally
"

This was just some random thoughts flowing round my head.

"

Am I a good mother

I sometimes wonder

When I am old will they come to visit

Or will they say “no she was bad”

Am I their best friend

I sometimes wonder

Will they tell me their problems

And ask for my help as they grow older

Am I their leader

I sometimes wonder

Will I be able to show them the way

The right path to follow so they won’t stray

Am I their thoughts

I sometimes wonder

Will they think of me throughout their day

When I can’t be with them

Oh this is beautiful.

We will always wonder if they will "come to visit ... tell me their problems ... think of me throughout their day." But all we can do is our best and pray that we are "able to show them the way." Being a parent is such a difficult task. Give them all your love and take it one day at a time.
