Oh my goodness, this makes me want to cry! I have a soft spot for animals, and people who lose their pets and it is just sad. I'm sorry for your dog, but very beautiful. I really enjoyed the alliteration(:

Maybe a little to descriptive in the second line, think more of one or two words that describe the feeling. Overall a lot of emotion in just a few words.

i know how it is to loose a pet. I've lost three pet rats of mine, and around six fish. It is really sad. very well written. and I'm sure Gypsy will be happy she was with you till she lived. God rest her soul. A sad write.

Ugh...losing a pet is so difficult!!!!Why don't they have support groups for this? Perhaps they do, who knows? It is so minimized in society, no bereavement days off work....but it can knock you off kilter and hurt so deeply, because you are right- pets, esp. dogs I think, can bond like no other person with us.

so hard leaving a close person..i can feel the pain and sorrow in it..
