The Warm EmbraceA Poem by The TurkThis poem is about the one I love. I can never get you out of head. To you Lina GreyTrapped The only word that describes this nightmare Wide white walls enclose me on all sides No sound is heard in my hypersensitive ears 5 When I close my weary eyes I feel a warm breeze The smell of honey suckle and willow trees fill the air I look around and see you sitting next to me We sit under the willow tree and look out at the lake I grab your hand and feel your steady pulse 10 your smooth palm, warm and loving I see your wide Cheshire smile gleam in the sunlight As you pull me to my feet I feel as light as air You pull me towards you a lock me in a loving embrace Your hair smells like blossoming cherry trees 15 As we let each other go you whisper in my ear "good bye" I stand back and see you disappear like dust in the wind I open my eyes and find myself facing emptiness I am back in the white wall hell
