No more the girl you once knew

No more the girl you once knew

A Poem by TurtleNamedPeanut
"

I cannot write poetry well enough. This is my first time to post any of my poetry. Be gentle with me because like I said, this really is my first time. I have no experience and so... here it is.

"
Jaded by your lovely lies

Woven intricately around my bare innocent self

Marring my skin with blemishes

Scars to remind me to never forget

To never forget what you did to me

The inconceivable action you had done

Your lies a facade; hiding behind a mask

I was no longer the same

Gone was she

In her place

Me
