Identity

Identity

A Poem by 'talie

A picture from the past

For memories to last.

A sweet smell of flowers

Brings memories of feminine powers.

A smooth beat

Makes me want to move my feet.

A symbol of peace swinging from my neck,

For violence, I don’t give a heck.

A smile translates as happy,

Laughs suggest I’m carefree.

Symbols form identity,

Within it you may find me.
