Everlasting silence

Everlasting silence

A Poem by Utopia

He stared at the moon,
Clouds escaped his sight
As the night drew closer
And everything was quiet.

No one came to see him,
He could hear a bell,
A crow lay near him,
Farewell, he said.

He no longer heard the bell,
No longer felt the leaves.

He closed his eyes
For the final time.

And he was no longer here.

Utopia
This was written in five minutes (a note to myself, as I feel I should have devoted more time). English is not my native language, so if there are mistakes, I apologize in advance.
Thank you for reading.
